Relax and sit awhile on one of the three veranda and deck areas. Visit the library and peruse the hundreds of publications—both contemporary and historic—that encompass the room. Luxuriate in the Parlor with its ornate fireplace mantle, elegant chandelier and double French doors that access the deck and a view of the gardens and the nature preserve

Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast in our Dining Room seated beneath on of the most extraordinary Venetian glass chandeliers ever seen. Weather permitting, breakfast may be served on the deck over-looking the natural, wooded areas that border this expansive property. Regular guests may include: Carolina wrens, Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds.

 

Nestled in the quaint village of Saluda, North Carolina, The Oaks Bed and Breakfast is only a short walk from town. There, you can stroll through an eclectic collection of shops, galleries, boutiques and bistros. You may notice that every business on Main Street wears the brass placard of the National Register of Historic Places.

Many of Western North Carolina's most popular attractions and points-of-interest are within an easy drive from the Inn. This includes the Biltmore Estate, The Biltmore Village, The Carl Sandburg Home, Flat Rock Playhouse, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure and the Pisgah National Forest.
